A Tennessee fugitive was arrested Monday following a traffic stop in Benton.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, 58-year-old Patrick Cowgill, of Clarksville, was stopped on Main Street.
Cowgill was charged with DUI, as well as driving on a DUI-suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, expired registration, no insurance, and other traffic offenses.
During the stop, deputies discovered that Cowgill had an outstanding warrant out of Paris, Tennessee, and was also charged with being a fugitive from justice.
He was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Detention Center.
