Fire damages home near Cuba

A fire near Cuba significantly damaged a home on Thursday night.

The Cuba Community Volunteer Fire Department along with Sedalia Fire were called to a home on Swan Road that was fully involved. In need of additional water, Kentucky State Police summoned Calloway County Fire Rescue for help. They responded with six units including five tanker trucks. 

In addition to assisting on the ground, Calloway County Fire Rescue used those tankers to shuttle a total of 22,000 gallons to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
