A Thursday traffic stop in McCracken County landed an alleged meth trafficker in jail.

On Thursday near Blandville and Highland Church Roads, a McCracken County Sheriff’s deputy stopped the vehicle driven by 43-year-old Gregory Pannell of Paducah. Pannell is said to have been in possession of about 29 grams of methamphetamine and a large amount of cash thought to be drug sale proceeds.

Pannell was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and not having an operator’s license.

He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
