Two arrested following Mayfield drug investigation

A Mayfield man was arrested Monday on drug related charges, and another man at the same location was arrested on unrelated charges.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office and Mayfield police served a search warrant at the home of 38-year-old Clarence L. Cobb on Wilford Street after an investigation revealed Cobb was selling fentanyl pills at his home.

During the search, 97 Fentanyl pills, the designer drug ecstasy, methamphetamine and cash was found.

Numerous handguns and long guns were also recovered from the residence. Cobb is a convicted felon and cannot legally possess any firearms. 

Cobb faces numerous charges including aggravated trafficking in fentanyl, possession of meth, marijuana and ecstasy, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

Another individual, 28-year-old Kimonte J. Courtney, was located at the residence. He was wanted on outstanding warrants after failing to appear in court.
