Crash in Mayfield sends two to the hospital

A crash on Wednesday in Mayfield sent two people to the hospital. 

Mayfield Police said the crash happened at 6th and East South Streets. A vehicle driven by 35-year-old Tabitha Cruz-Guerra traveling on South Street reportedly slid into the intersection while trying to stop for the traffic light.

That vehicle slid into one driven by 53-year-old Mary Stephenson of Fulton. Stephenson and her passenger, 91-year-old Mary Cox of Mayfield, were taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment.
