Work to resume on Cairo bridge next week

Starting Tuesday, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will resume a work zone lane restriction on the US 51 bridge between Wickliffe and Cairo.

A crew has been replacing deck railing along the bridge all month. The additional work could continue for about another five weeks.

Starting Tuesday, a temporary traffic signal will be in place on both sides of the bridge. Delays are possible.
