A magnitude 2.4 earthquake was reported in southeast Missouri Saturday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey at the University of Memphis, the quake was centered four miles west northwest of Mountain View, and 86 miles north northwest of Poplar Bluff. It occurred at 1:34 am.
The USGS says that a quake of 2.5 is the threshold of humans being able to detect the ground shaking.
No damage has been reported from this earthquake.
