Report: KY Near Bottom of 'Happiness Rankings'

LOUISVILLE - The personal finance website Wallethub released its annual report on 2018's Happiest States in America, and Kentucky is in the basement.  
Analysts used 28 key parameters comparing emotional and physical well-being, work environment, and community and environment. Kentucky ranked the 44th happiest state.  
Kentucky ranked 48th in emotional and physical wellbeing.  
According to the website, reasons for Kentucky's low ranking include a lack of adequate sleep and high level of depression among its residents.  
Hawaii was the happiest overall state, followed by Utah and Minnesota.  
The least happy state was West Virginia, followed by Arkansas and Louisiana.
