Kentucky Emergency Management says the drill is scheduled to take place at 9:07 a.m. central time.
During the drill, a test message will be activated through the National Weather Service.
Outdoor sirens and weather radios will be activated and warnings will also be broadcast on television and radio stations.
You may receive information on your cell phone as well.
Emergency managers say it's also a good time for families to run through their emergency weather plans, since we are approaching the time of year when severe weather, including tornadoes, becomes more likely.
