Sullivan University, which operates a Learning Center in Mayfield, has been named one of the best places to work in Kentucky by Forbes magazine, one of the nation's leading business publications.

Just 35 companies in Kentucky made the prestigious list, which was compiled by Forbes partnering with market researcher Statista "to pinpoint the organizations liked by employees in our first-ever ranking of America's best employers by state," Forbes wrote in announcing the list.

"We are truly proud to be included on the Forbes list of best places to work in Kentucky," said Sullivan University System President Glenn Sullivan. "We take tremendous pride in developing and maintaining a culture where people enjoy working. What really makes a company great is its employees, and we have the best."

Sullivan joins some of the best-known companies and brands on the list, including Ford Motor, Marriott International, Toyota North America,
United Parcel Service, Norton Healthcare, Home Depot, Aetna and CVS Health.
