Suspect wanted in Beyer Lane shooting arrested

A man wanted in connection with a shooting on Beyer Lane last Saturday was apprehended on Thursday.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said 50-year-old William Philip Neihoff was observed by detectives in a vehicle in the Kevil area of Ballard County.  

McCracken and Ballard County Sheriff’s deputies stopped the vehicle and Neihoff was taken into custody without incident.  

Neihoff was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on the outstanding arrest warrants obtained in the investigation for assault and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
