Dannie G. Jarvis

Dannie Jarvis, 90 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, Kentucky.

Born Monday, December 10, 1934 in Marshall County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Cecil Jarvis and the late Ethel Park Jarvis. 

Dannie was a retired machinist at VMV Railroad Shop in Paducah. He was a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving are son, Philip Jarvis (Tracy) of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Brian Jarvis (Brooke) of Calvert City, KY and Hailey Jarvis of Dexter, KY; great grandchildren, Bo, Baylor, and Brinn Jarvis of Calvert City, KY.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joanne Smith Jarvis, infant daughter, Beth Ann Jarvis, and brother, Bobbie Jarvis.

A funeral service will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Collier Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Penick officiating.

Burial to follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
