Linda Sue Garland

Linda Sue Garland, 75, of Paducah passed away at 8:20 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at her residence.
 
Linda’s family was the center of her world. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When she wasn’t caring for her family, she enjoyed going dancing with her husband, Gaylon. She was a strong-willed and determined woman and a faithful servant of the Lord.
 
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gaylon Garland of Paducah; two sons, Kevin (Sandra) Garland of Sharpe, Ricky Garland of Paducah; one brother, Frank (Darla) Augustus of Hardmoney; five grandchildren, Brittany, Katie, Zach (Jordan), Ashlynn, Owen; five great-grandchildren, Lilly, Liam, Lilah, Elyse, Lindy; and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Augustus; mother, Alma Naomi (Hughes) Augustus; three brothers, Donnie Augustus, Charles Augustus, Jerry Augustus.
 
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. James Stom officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
