Marianna Turpin

Mrs. Marianna Turpin, 90, of Murray, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Passion and Purpose Homecare Assisted Living.
 
Marianna was born to the late Joseph and Bessie Bishop Walker on August 2, 1933 in Flint, Michigan.  She wore many hats which included cooking, farming and being a homemaker.  She also retired from foodservice at Murray Calloway Hospital.  Mrs. Turpin was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
 
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Billy Joe Williams, her second husband, Mr. G.W. Turpin and a daughter, Patty Suver, in addition to her parents.
 
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include her four sons, Joey Williams (Pam) of Murray, David Willams (Carla) of Murray, Mark Williams (Lori) of Murray, Jerry Williams of Murray; a daughter, Donna Williams (George) of Murray; a brother, Gerald Walker (Nona) of Murray; a sister, Shirley Morcus (Dick) of Murray; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
 
A graveside service is set for 1 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Barnett Cemetery with John Dale officiating.
 
Her family welcomes visitors from 11 am until 12:30 pm at Imes Funeral Home, 311 North 4^th Street, Murray.
