Rickey Alan Brewer

Rickey Alan Brewer, 75, of Paducah passed away on March 8, 2026, at Mercy Health of Paducah.

Rickey was a kind and gentle soul. He never meant a stranger, and he loved to meet visitors and new neighbors and friends at Etcetera Coffeehouse in Lowertown. Rickey was a talented musician and loved to entertain his friends and neighbors with folk songs on the guitar. He enjoyed acting in plays at The Market House Theater. Rickey had been co-owner of Hester’s Spot-In-The-Sun-Resort in Fairdealing, Ky and Central Service in Kevil, Ky. Rickey was also a Navy Veteran.

Rickey is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gaye Brewer; one brother, Mike Brewer; one sister in-law, Robin Brewer; and one niece, Anna Brewer.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents; Tom and June (Gilbert) Brewer.

Memorial contributions, in Rickey's honor, may be made to Maiden Alley Cinema, Market House Theater, or the McGangsters.
