Sharon Kay Gordon

We are here to celebrate the life and honor the memory of Sharon Kay Gordon, known affectionately to her loved ones as Kay, who has peacefully passed away of natural causes on the 30th of April 2025, at the age of 82, in Mayfield, Kentucky.
 
Born on April 24, 1943, in the town of Doniphan, Missouri, Kay was the cherished daughter of Jim and Lois Webb. 
 
Kay's warm presence and nurturing spirit were foremost evidenced by her devotion to her children. She is survived by her son, Jim Brown, and his wife Missy, as well as her daughter, Melinda Brown Darnell.
 
A testament to her enduring love and spirit, Kay also leaves behind grandchildren who were the light of her life – Jamie Shook, Whitney Brown, Tyler Brown, Logan Brown, and Jessie Hailey – as well as eight great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy. 
 
She leaves behind as well stepdaughter, Michelle Barnett and her husband Ron. As well as her step-grandchildren, Ronnie Barnett and Nathan Barnett, along with two step-great-grandchildren
 
Kay’s life was not without loss, as preceding her in death were her parents, Jim and Lois Webb, her beloved daughter Melandie K Brown, her sister Audrey Campbell, and her brother Roger Webb. These departures left indelible marks on her heart but also sculpted her strength and compassion.
 
The family will have a private memorial celebration at a later date.
