David McCauley

James David McCauley, 71, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born on November 30, 1953 in Genoa, Nebraska to the late James Leslie McCauley and Oma Frances Pullam McCauley. David was an Accountant for the Landstar Ligon Trucking Company. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. David enjoyed fishing and playing Chess and Checkers. He was an avid collector, collecting anything that he found interesting or that he liked.
 
David is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Gruner McCauley; son, James Lawrence McCauley of Paducah, Kentucky; daughter, Elizabeth McCauley of Paducah, Kentucky; sisters, Connie Coe and Teresa Ann Satterfield; brothers, George McCauley and Donald McCauley; half-brother, Jeff McCauley and several nieces and nephews.
 
Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 8, 2025 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Katie Minnis officiating.
 
Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
 
Private family burial will be held at Brook Hill Memorial Park.
