Jackie Thomas, age 75, of Cunningham, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his residence.
Jackie was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on February 14, 1949, to the late Paul L. and Evelyn Jean Alcock Thomas. Jackie retired from the maintenance department at Westvaco Paper Mill and was a Veteran of the United States Army. A true outdoorsman, Jackie enjoyed goose and duck hunting, which led to his love for dogs, especially duck retrievers. His appreciation for wildlife was evident to all who knew him. He was of the Baptist faith.
Jackie is survived by his brother, Bobby Thomas (Sheliah) of Lowes, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Granville Joe Thomas; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell from 11:00 A.M. until the service time of 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 29, 2024.
