Kevin Henderson

Kevin Henderson,56, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on April 24, 2024, at his residence. Born on July 16, 1967, in Owensboro, KY, Kevin was a man of many talents and will be remembered for his love of life and adventure.

 

Kevin leaves behind a loving family: his devoted wife, Debbie Vogel Henderson; daughter, Bailee Henderson of Mobile, Alabama; mother and step-father, Diane Nantz Jones and Elmer Jones of Lebanon, Tennessee; step-mother, Shirley Henderson of Owensboro, Kentucky; sister, Tanya Henderson of Nashville, Tennessee; and his in-laws, James and Claudine Vogel of Paducah, Kentucky, and sister-in-law Valerie Vogel of Lexington, Kentucky, and his beloved dog, Penny, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Henderson. 

 

He was the owner and operator of Oasis Tanning Salon for the last 26 years. Kevin will be remembered by many for his contagious enthusiasm and relentless optimism.

 

Kevin's passions were expansive, his love for offshore saltwater fishing, boating on Kentucky Lake, and snow skiing spoke of his adventurous spirit. Kevin was also a talented woodworker, whose creations were handy and showcased his boundless creativity.

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Lakeland Event Center located at 4900 US Hwy 62, Calvert City, Ky, on May 19th from 2PM-5PM all friends and family are invited to attend.

 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The McGangsters Care for Cats at Lone Oak Animal Clinic 125 Augusta Ave, Paducah, KY 42003.
