Kimberly Ann Cole

Kimberly Ann Cole, 61, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Norton’s Womens and Children Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
 
Born on September 24, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, Kimberly’s journey was a testament to her love for her family and her faith. She was a proud 1981 graduate from Mayfield High School. Her devotion and commitment to her faith were evident in her practice of reading her Bible. A passionate gardener, she nurtured her plants with the same tenderness she extended to all living things. Her garden was full of color, which reflected the vibrancy of her spirit and the care she invested in every seed she planted. In moments of peace and reflection, Kimberly was known to stroll along the beach, her eyes alight with the thrill of discovering seashells. These walks along the shore, with her feet gracing the sands and her laughter mingling with the sounds of the waves, were some of her most cherished times. But above all, Kimberly revered her family, the cornerstone of her existence. Each family member drew strength and love from the deep well of her being.
 
Kimberly is survived by a daughter, Emily (Landon) Oliver of West Paducah, Kentucky; her mother, Peggy Ann Fiser Isbell of Mayfield, Kentucky; her father, Dr. Donald Dowdy and her step mother, Carole Dowdy four sisters, Kathy (Tom) Messmer of Louisville, Kentucky, Kelly (Chris) Champion of Mayfield, Kentucky, Carrie (Trey) Nall of Nashville, Tennessee, and Kelly (Steve) Weber of Mayfield, Kentucky; four nephews, Tanner (Andrea) Hobbs of Louisville, Kentucky, Harrison Hobbs of Cincinatti, Ohio, Austin (Taylor) Champion of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Trevor Champion of Mayfield, Kentucky; and two great nieces.
 
She was preceded in death by her step father, Kent Isbell.
