Larry Clark, age 81, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 5:30 a. m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Providence Pointe Nursing & Rehab Center.
Larry was born on August 12, 1942 to the late Harry Dewey Clark Sr. and Knoxie Rhea Ashley Clark. Larry was a member of the Heartland Worship Center and a 1962 graduate of Lone Oak High School. Larry loved sports, especially golf, and Paxton Park Golf Course, where he played real often. He was a St. Louis Cardinal Baseball Fan and University of Kentucky Fan. He was retired as a security escort at USEC plant. He drove for many years as bus driver for charter groups, churches and schools.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynnette Clark, Lone Oak, Kentucky; one son, Dr. Kevin (Christine) Clark of Odenton, Maryland; one granddaughter, Makenzye (Stephen) Henson of Knoxville, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, Owen Henson and Tripp Henson; special friend Janice Puckett; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Ann Kloss Clark; parents, six sisters, Betty Lois Clark Thomas, Elizabeth Ann Neal, Martha Jane Tapscott, Edna May Brewer, Georgia Imogene Prochazka and Mary Earlene Stanley; five brothers, Virgil Allen Clark, Joel Thomas Clark, Kenneth Rhea Clark Harry Dewey Clark Jr. and James Paul Clark.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Russ Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024 from Noon until service time of 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
