Sandra Sullivan Moore, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on October 11, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Sandra retired as a respected office manager and bookkeeper from West Kentucky Navigation after 23 years of precision and dedication. She also worked for Schroeder Publishing and while there was a critical organizer in each year’s American Quilter’s Society Quilt Show.

Sandra's devotion to her faith and community stood as a testament to her character. A very involved parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, she served with devotion on the Parish Council, drove the church bus, and volunteered in family development activities.  Her faith also found expression through her membership in the Daughters of Isabella. Sandra also served for many years as a Den Leader and Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 7.

In her personal life, Sandra exuded a love for reading, needlework, crochet, and quilting-each quilt stitched with stories, love, and history. She took immense pride in her grandkids and family, who were the cornerstone of her existence. Known for her spunky personality, Sandra would light up any room with her laughter and heartwarming presence. Friends and family will fondly recall her mouthwatering fried chicken and her love of the Smokey Mountains of her youth.

Sandra is survived by her four children, Michael Moore (Tammi) of Paducah, Karen Coreau (Ted) of Paducah, John Moore (Sarah) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and Jennifer Fox (Jimmy) of Paducah; one sister, Brenda Paschal of Paducah; eleven grandchildren, Cecily Woods, Samantha Eckel (Clayton), Kayla Quarles (Anden), Matthew Moore (Chelsea), James Mayfield, Andrew Moore, Jessie Moore, Mark Moore (Natalie), Collin Moore, Courtney Moore, and Charley Moore; five great-grandchildren, Wesley Moore, Emery Quarles, Cora Jo McNew, Ethan Moore, and Lincoln Quarles; and her beloved Maltipoo, Max.

She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, William Joseph Moore; and her parents, William and M. Kathleen Sullivan.
