Joan Humbles Bombardier was born on July 27, 1958 in Paducah, Kentucky to Gladman C. Humbles and Betty Jo White.
Joan received her education from Paducah Tilghman High School. She graduated from Paducah Community College and was awarded Valedictorian. Then she went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Murray State University. Joan was the mother of 2 sons Marc and Eric Jagoe.
Joan had a strong love for God and confessed Christ as her Savior at an early age joining Rosary Chapel in Paducah, Kentucky.
Joan met and fell in love with the love of her life Chris Bombardier. Chris and Joan wed on October 5, 2008. They celebrated 15 years of blissful marriage.
Joan loved to cook and garden. She was a great nutritionist and an intense researcher. Joan researched food, gardening, canning. She was not afraid to try new things. She was an excellent Public Speaker, her Valedictorian speech was outstanding. She loved being outside and was an avid walker.
Joan departed from us having lived a full, spiritual life, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. She was preceded by her son, Eric Jagoe and her parents Gladman and Betty Jo.
Celebrating her life, she leaves her Loving Husband, Chris Bombardier; Son, Marc Jagoe, Brother John Humbles, Sister, Jana Shobe, Brothers, Christopher Williams, Charles Patterson Jr., Roy L Patterson (Leila) and James Patterson (Helen), Sister, Cathy Patterson and a host of family and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the First Love Seventh Day Adventist Church 1029 Oscar Cross Avenue in Paducah with Pastor Michael Paschal and Elder Roy Patterson officiating.
