Mrs. Virginia A. Houston

Mrs. Virginia A. Houston, age 82, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.

Mrs. Houston was born in Cadiz, Kentucky, on June 29, 1943, to the late Woodrow Harper and Etta (Dunn) Harper. Mrs. Houston retired from Fisher Price and was of the Baptist faith, while attending Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Houston was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Houston, who passed away on April 9, 2024; one brother, Rabon Harper; a nephew, Steve Harper; and a great nephew, Kyle Harper.

Mrs. Houston is survived by her stepson, Keith Houston and wife Amy; two step grandchildren, Ryan Houston and wife Brittney and Taylor Houston and wife Chelsey; four step great grandchildren, Lawson, Charlotte, Kane, and Kallie Houston; nephew, Dwayne Harper and wife Pam; great niece, Darby Lax; and close friends, Mindy Parker and Martha Harper all of Murray, Kentucky.

A memorial graveside will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Murray Memorial Gardens. Bro. Brett Miles will officiate, and burial will follow.
