David George Haeffner, age 72, of Arlington, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at his residence.
David was born in St. Louis on July 6, 1947 to the late Victor Haeffner Sr. and Aileen McClellan Haeffner. He was a career truck driver and retired from Burgess Brothers Trucking. David loved sports, especially football, car racing and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
David is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janet Lambert Haeffner of Arlington; one son, Thomas Haeffner and wife, Tiffany of Martin, Tennessee; one special daughter, Michelle Gabel Moore of Paducah; two brothers, Mike Haeffner of Washington, Missouri and Gary Haeffner and partner, Charlotte Schnauss of Fredericksburg, Missouri; mother-in-law, Shirley Lambert of Arlington; one niece, Denis Lynn Haeffner; one nephew, Bryan Lamunion; great-nephew, Jonathan Medlock; his cousin, Cathy Meier and husband, Don.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Victor Haeffner, Jr.; two nephews, Daniel Rose and Steven Medlock.
A memorial service will be held for David at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Mark lambert officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the service time of 2:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
