Robert “Butch” Campbell Massie, Jr. 55, of Paducah, died Wednesday evening, March 7, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.
He graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and entered the United States Army in 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Hunt Holmes Massie; one step-son, Darrell Sheeley, Jr.; his mother, Alice Boyd Massie of Paducah; one brother, Myron Massie of Paducah; four sisters, Donna Cobb of Jacksonville, FL, Robbin Massie of St. Louis, MO, Thelma Jackson of Bowling Green, KY and Allyson (Raymond) Wynn of Chicago, IL; two nephews, one niece; several cousins.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Robert Campbell Massie, Sr.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 16, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend Rita Story, officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
