She was born in Paducah on May 27, 1962 to Allen Leroy Elrod and Betty Jean Jenkins Elrod. She worked as an operator at USEC.
Tammye is survived by two sisters, Mary Louise Elrod Wurth (Charles) of Cunningham and Debra Jean Elrod Hair of Paducah; one brother, Larry Allen Elrod (Janice) of Paducah; one niece, Elizabeth Norwine; one nephew, Michael Hair; one great niece, Ella Norwine; and one great nephew, Maddox Norwine.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private graveside service will be held at McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
