Rashida Burdick, age 21, of Fulton, Kentucky, passed away on June 20, 2020 at Region One Health Center in Memphis.
Rashida was born in Fulton, Kentucky on October, 9, 1998. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Rashida was a 911 Dispatcher for Obion County, Tennessee and served with the Kentucky National Guard. To her family and friends, she will be remembered by her positive personality. Rashida was one of the most supportive and encouraging people you would ever meet, and she absolutely loved to make the ones around her laugh.
Rashida is survived by her fiance, Terrence Hussey of Columbus; mother, Brenda Burdick of Clinton; father, Jewell Thomas Harper of Union City, Tennessee; sister Ravaeh Burdick of Clinton; grandmother, Alayne Bacon of Oakland, Maine.
She was preceded in death by her brother , Jewell (Jay )Thomas Smith.
Funeral services for Rashida will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Anthony Johnson and Rev. Jonathan Altoff officiating. Burial will follow at Columbus Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the service time of 2:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
