Betty Jean Clark Sublett, 87, of Boaz passed away at 2:51 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Heritage Manor in Mayfield.   She was raised in Kuttawa and  a long time member of Liberty Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.  Betty loved to crochet and was a member of Folsomdale Homemaker’s Club.  She formerly worked as server and cook at Hardees, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Survivors include on son, Ken Sublett and wife, Kim of Boaz; one sister, Eva Morrell, Kuttawa; two grand-daughters, BeaLinda Smith (Steven Birgbauer) of Murray and Jami (Julio) Vela of Bardwell; five great-grandchildren , Abby Lonsway, Joseph Lonsway , Madyson Birgbauer, Kaidance Vela and  Karmine Vela.

Preceding in death was her husband, Milton Eugene Sublett; parents, Raleigh Clark and Maudie Polk Clark Oliver; one son, Milton Earl Sublett; and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church in Folsomdale with Rev. Wayne Berry Officiating.  Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.  

Visitation will be held Thursday, March, 1, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church.
