David Joe VanCleve, 55, of Hickory, Kentucky, passed away at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his residence.
David was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School class of 1981. He worked in construction and loved animals.
David is survived by a daughter, Melissa Hopwood and husband Tim of Paducah; a granddaughter, Kaylee Herndon; his parents, Donald ‘Don’ M. VanCleve and Martha J. DeBoe VanCleve of Paducah; a sister, Karen Brown and husband Kevin of Knoxville, Tennessee; a brother, Donnie VanCleve and wife Jen of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph DeBoe, Margaret DeBoe Mullinnix, Preston C. VanCleve and Mayme VanCleve.
A funeral sevice will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
