Douglas Boren

Mr. Douglas R. Boren, age 86 of Hardin, KY died on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY.  He was a retired police officer for the Detroit Police Department and a member of Union Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are son, Darrin Boren, wife Donna of Benton, KY, daughters, Beverly Webber, husband Tony of Benton, KY and Tammy Pierce, husband Brian of Hardin, KY, brother, Danny Boren of Florida, sister, Patricia Ann Parkham of Michigan, grandchildren, Jeremy Webber, Justin Webber, Julie Webber, Kristen Gorsline, Kurt Pierce, Nicole Whitesell, Jacob Boren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Lue (Morgan) Boren, wife of 61 years, Betty Jean "Jeanne" (Thorn) Boren, and sister, Dorris Combs.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Jack Kee officiating. 

Interment will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
