Lois Ann Rousse

Lois A. Rousse age 80 of Rosiclaire, IL, formally of Benton, KY and Elkton, MI gained her angel wings Sunday April 26, 2020 at the Rosiclaire Rehab and Health Care Center.

She was born January 4, 1940 to the late Aaron and Evelyn Haley. 
She worked at Active Industries, Elkton, MI until moving to Kentucky.
She loved the residents and staff at Rosiclaire Rehab and Health Care Center.  She was an avid crafter, enjoyed Christian and country music, word search puzzles, birds and angles.  

Lois was an outstanding member at New Zion Baptist Missionary Church-Benton, KY; she was also a former member at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Owendale, MI.

She was a loving mother of five daughters-Valerie (Ken)-Heiden-Elkton, MI; Tammy (Terry) Britton-Benton, KY; Lynn Chapman-Tolleson, AZ, Tina Sidebottom-Nashville and Rebecca Rousse-deceased.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren who called her Mimi-Ryan, Angie, Ken Jr., Beth, Kent, Kenny T, Terry Britton Jr (TJ), Rebecca, Anna, Anthony, Eric, Joshua, Rushelle, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
Surviving are two sisters:  Judy Milton-Pigeon, MI; Jewell Kleekamp-Bad Axe, MI; four brothers-Ervin Haley-Sebewaing, MI; Fred (Sandy) Haley-Elkton, MI; Ron Haley-New Jersey and Anson (Melanie) Haley-Almont, MI and sister in laws Jeri Haley and Char Keillor.

Lois married Larry Rousse September 25, 1959.  He preceded her in death October 19, 1992.  She was also preceded in death by a loving daughter Rebecca  Rousse; her parents Evelyn and Aaron Haley, four brothers Eddie, Ivan, Ernie and Ennis Haley.  Sister in laws Ginnie Haley and Josephine Haley.  Niece Catina Mulqueen, nephews Ron Haley Jr and Kevin Haley,

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are being made with Collier Funeral Home-Benton, KY.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family discretionary fund payable to Valerie Heiden, Elkton, MI, or New Zion Missionary Church-Benton, KY.

Her daughters would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Roseclaire Rehab and Health Care Center for the great care given to Lois and her daughters.
