Steven Milliner

Mr. Steven Milliner, 70, of Murray, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.

Steve was born September 11, 1949 in Charleston, IL  to the late George and Audine Kanitz Milliner. He served in the United State Army from 1968-1970 and was stationed in Germany.  Steven then returned to Charleston and was a firefighter for 29 years for the city of Charleston.  He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Steve owned and operated a greenhouse business after retirement and loved woodworking.  Those that knew Steve will remember his fun loving spirit.  He was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Murray.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nina to whom he married on June 23, 1949; a son, Doug Milliner of Murray; two brothers, Bill Lewis (Linda) of Charleston, IL, Don Lewis (Janice) of Son City West, AZ; sister-in-law, Marcia Bloom (Mike) of Jackson, MO; brother-in-law, David King of San Francisco, CA; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and his loving dog, Katy.

Special thanks to Green Acres Nursing Home staff of Mayfield for their excellent care of Steve.  His death is not related to COVID-19.
