Alton Dykes, 85, of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Alton was born February 15, 1934 in Paducah to the late Sidney Dykes and Carlene Johnson Dykes. He was a member of Marion First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Rotary Club.
Alton is survived by one daughter, Sheila Tucker of Paducah; one son, Michael Dykes of Paducah; one sister, Dortha Jean Medlin of Paducah; three granddaughters, Brittany Hinsley of Dixon, Tennessee, Kaley Tucker of Paducah, Lexie Tucker of Paducah; one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Hinsley and one great-grandson, Rylen Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jewel Champion Dykes; one daughter, Sharon Dykes; one son, Gary Dykes; one brother, Robert Dykes.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Dee Ann Thompson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
