Robert A. “Bob” McCracken, 79, of Ledbetter, passed away at 11:41 am on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Mercy Health at Lourdes Hospital.
Bob retired from UPS with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Broadway Church of Christ, and a Kentucky Colonel. Bob loved anything outdoors, especially, hunting, fishing, hiking and auto racing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jo Smith McCracken; two daughters, Debra Hall and husband, Mark of Ledbetter, Lori Stanphill of LaVergne, TN; son, David McCracken and wife, Janna of Benton, KY; two sisters, Betty Fausnacht of Vincennes, IN, Kathy Pickens of Bedford, IN; three brothers, Larry McCracken, of Vincennes, IN, Mike McCracken, of Indianapolis, IN, and Gene McCracken of Bedford, IN; four grandchildren, Amanda Hall, Matthew Hall and wife, Taylor, Riley McCracken, and wife, Kendra, and Tori McCracken; great granddaughter, Laila Hall; two step grandchildren, Sara Pickard, and Zach Pickard; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray McCracken, and Hollis Scarlett McCracken; and his brother, Richard “Dick” McCracken.
Funeral services for Bob will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Andy Clausen and J.V. Kerley officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter.
Visitation for Bob will be after 12:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
