Leo Wilson Carter, 72, of Kuttawa, died Sunday, February 16 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.
He was formerly of Burkley, KY and a member of Burkley Baptist Church ; a retired minister, who pastored churches in Ballard, McCracken, and Crittenden counties. He is survived by his wife,Ruby Burgess Carter of Kuttawa; his daughter, Teresa Bellamy of Ballard County; his sons, David Wilson Carter of Kuttawa and Daniel Joseph Carter of Eddyville;his brother, Gary Carter of Arlington; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Edith Jones Carter and two brothers.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 19 at 2:00 PM, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Larry Logsdon & Ronnie Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Berkley Cemetery . Friends may call for visitation after 5:00 PM, Tuesday February 18 at the funeral home.
