Barbara Ann Morton

Mrs. Barbara Ann Morton, age 78 of Benton, KY passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at her home.  She was a homemaker and member of Olive Baptist Church.

Born Friday, August 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James Walter York and the late Lounell (Ross) York. 

Surviving are sons, Russell Lynn Morton, wife Michelle of Benton, KY, Randall Allen Morton, wife Lisa of Benton, KY and Ryan Lee Morton, wife Deborah of Benton, KY, daughter, Roxanne Lee of Benton, KY, brothers, Glen York, wife Dona of Highland, MI, John York, wife Carol of Hardin, KY, Roy York, wife Gayle of Monticello, AR and Joe York, wife Tracey of Benton, KY, sister, Brenda Garner, husband Morgan of Benton, KY, brother-in-law, Russell Brewer, wife Sharon of Benton, KY, grandchildren, Julianne Lee, Abby Ford (Josh), Adam Morton, Eli Morton, Dalton Morton (Aspen), Madyson Morton, Kelsey Rogers (Jeremy), Aubrey Morton, Lucas Morton, Kandace Owen, Jordan Owen, Kaylee Williams, Jordan Williams, and great-grandchildren, Macy Ford, Max Ford, Tucker Owen, Lilly Owen, and Kaydan Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 55 years, Ronald "Jug" Morton, and sister, Bettie Brewer.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. David Whitaker and Rev. Todd Dotson officiating. 

Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2020, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
