Rebekah Sue Word, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 3:35 pm Friday, June 16, 2017 at her home.
Becky was born in Oak Ridge, TN to Joe and Mary White. She was of the Baptist faith and had an enduring love for her children. She was an avid reader, loved animals, and found great joy in caring for her cats.
Ms. Word is survived by her daughters, Kristi Cecil and husband Chad, of Paducah, Kim Yancy and husband Kevin, of Cordova, TN; her son Joe and wife Brandy, of Paducah; her grandchildren, Sarah and Amanda Rice, Kayla and Ashley Word, Kristen and Zachary Yancy.
Ms. Word was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Ralph White and Mary Louise Jenkins White; and her brother.
A private memorial service has been scheduled with Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah. Pastor Nathan Williams will officiate.
