Mr. Billy Jay O'Daniel, age 58 of Calvert City, KY died on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at his home. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a Master Machinist for Northrop-Grummen Corporation. He retired after completion of the USS George H. W. Bush. He was of the Christian Faith.
Surviving are his wife of 11 years, Lynette (Birchett) O'Daniel of Calvert City, KY, mother, Toni (Gantenbein) O'Daniel of Benton, KY, sons, Kenny O'Daniel, wife Randi of Palmyra, NY and Edward Denton Fisher of Los Angeles, CA, daughters, Kelly O'Daniel of San Francisco, CA and Casondra Fisher of Los Angeles, CA, brothers, Johnny O'Daniel of Key Largo, FL and Joey O'Daniel of Evansville, IN, sisters, Shawn O'Daniel of Mayfield, KY, Cindy Vied, husband Tim of Kirksey, KY, grandchildren, Katelyn O'Daniel of Palmyra, NY, Tyler O'Daniel of Palmyra, NY and Donavynne O'Daniel.
He was preceded in death by his father, John O'Daniel, brother Bobby Lee O'Daniel.
A visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025.
Military rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Collier Funeral Home.
