Mr. Daniel Owen Kelly, 83, of Smithland, KY, formerly of Mount Vernon, IL, passed Monday, February 24th, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Kelly was a retired truck driver and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He enjoyed fishing and time with his good friends, Steve Turner and David Hinkle.
He is survived by his wife, Essie Kelly; a son, Greg Kelly of Pittsfield, IL; a daughter, Mary Beth (Larry) Salyers of Paducah, KY; a step-son, Walter (Gloria) Bingham of Fredericksburg, VA; a granddaughter, Haley Kelly; a grandson and best buddy, Nathaniel "Doober" Manley; two other granddaughters; sisters, Connie Petersen and Sue (Mike) Poninski of Mount Vernon, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kelly is preceded in death by his parents, Owen Wesley Kelly and Madonna Kelly Burgin; stepfather, Aubrey Burgin; a son Todd Kelly; and daughter-in-law, Ava Kelly.

Per his wishes for cremation, a memory of life service will be held at a later date.
