Mrs. Marie Bailey Bouland, age 87 of Calvert City, KY passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY.
Born Wednesday, November 28, 1928 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Harold Bailey and the late Susie (Crenshaw) Bailey. She was a retired Beautician and was a member of Pathway Baptist Church, Calvert City, KY.
Surviving are her daughter, Marilynn Marie Majors of Orlando, FL, her son, Tommy Bouland, wife Sara of Calvert City, KY, two sisters, Norma McGregor of Calvert City, KY and Mary Heikkinen of Possum Trot, KY. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Tammy Sugrue, husband Patrick, Jessie Yeaman, husband Ryan, Mary Elizabeth Hurst, husband Ahmed, Aaron Hurst, wife Kacie and six great-grandchildren; Wyatt Sugrue, Macee Sugrue, Devyn Yeaman, Maverick Yeaman, Hudson Hurst and Jase Salama.
Mrs. Bouland was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas L. Bouland, by three brothers, Robert Bailey, James Bailey and Paul Bailey.
Funeral services will held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Pastor Mike Donald will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Dees Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
The family asks that memorial contributions be given to the Pathway Baptist Church Youth, P.O. Box 711, Calvert City, KY 42029.
