Russell Koeppen

Mr. Russell Koeppen, 71, of Murray, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray. Russell was born on August 6, 1948 in Arlington Heights, IL to the late Clarence and Dorothy Bender Koeppen. He proudly served his country in Vietnam with the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Koeppen. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 18 years, Marsha Koeppen of Murray; a son, Jeffrey Koeppen of New Port, RI; two daughters, Roslyn Weiss (Greg) of Stamford, CT, Johanna Koeppen of Mad Bury, NH; a brother, James Koeppen of Murray and four grandchildren, Olivia, Aidan, Phoebe and Caleb. Mr. Koeppen will be buried at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Anna Mae Owen Hospice House in Murray.
