Elaine Bridges Leneave, 97 of Durham, NC and formerly of Paducah, KY, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Durham Regent Retirement Residence.
Mrs. Leneave was a member of Grey Stone Baptist Church in Durham, NC and former member of First Baptist Church Paducah. She retired from the business office at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She is survived by her daughters, Judith Moorefield Burhans of Durham, NC, and Helen Moorefield Houston of Paducah, KY; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Leneave was preceded in death by her first husband E. Chafin Moorefield; second husband, Charles Edward Harris; and third husband Claydus Leneave; three brothers; and one sister. Her parents were Jessie Taylor and Myrtress Grace Davis Bridges.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Dr. Donald Houston officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
