Gene Colson, 75, of Paducah passed away at 3:16 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Mr. Colson was a Self Employed Home Builder for Colson Home Building and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his two sons, Chris Colson and wife, Ginger of Paducah, Tracey Colson of Paducah; one sister, Carolyn Nelson of Paducah; one grandchild; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Colson; mother, Marie Colson; and two brothers, Virgil Colson and James Colson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. David R. Appold officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery of Paducah.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the funeral home.
