Glenda M. Distler, age 72 of Paducah, KY passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital. Glenda was a member of First Christian Church and active in many projects of the church. She was treasurer of the McCracken County Homemakers Club and a member of the Golden Days Homemaker Club. Glenda enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and watching the whales. Glenda won many awards in needle work. Glenda was a registered nurse and worked for the state of Michigan.
Survivors include two neices, Julia Winegar and husband, Ben of Fargo, ND; Amy Mikkelsen and husband, Dana of Moohead, MN; four great nephews, Liam Mikkelsen, Ethan Mikkelsen, Shea Winegar, and Alexander Winegar; two great nieces, Brinn Winegar and Wrehn Winegar, one uncle, Bob Walker and wife, Billie of West Paducah, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Henry Distler & Nellie May Walker Distler and one sister Wanda Jo Engel.
Services will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Bob Franz officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
