Jenny Denker, 70, of Paducah, died June 5, 2013 at her home after a three and a half year fight with ovarian cancer.
Jenny was born August 1, 1942 in Paducah to the late David and Jeanette (Jenny) Nelson. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for the first 31 years of her life, and a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church for the last 39 years of her life. She also worked for Lone Oak First Baptist Church for 25 years.
Surviving are her husband of 49 and half years, Robert Lewis (Bobby) Denker; two sons, Brent Lyn (Dodie) Denker of Paducah and Brian Lee (Cindy) Denker of Jackson, TN, her little Maltese dog, Joy; two sisters, Gerry Lou (Don) Dixon and Jane Richard (George) Carrell; six nieces and nephews, fourteen great nieces and nephews, and three great-great nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Lone Oak First Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Summerlin and Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Visitation is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour, Friday June 7, 2013. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
