Nilda Simak, 76, of Paducah died 8:50 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at her home. She was a native of Puerto Rico and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Simak of West Hollywood, CA and Michael Simak of Paducah, KY; one sister Juanita Febo of Puerto Rico and one brother, Gil Serrano of Wasilla, AK; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Simak; parents, Jose’ Serrano and Clemencia Serrano.
Services will be held Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Deacon Terry Larbes officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
