Alex Rodriguez drove in four runs,
but it wasn't enough as Madisonville fell to Paducah 11-6
Thursday night. Rodriguez drove in runs on a home run in
the first and a home run in the third.
The Chiefs pulled away for good
with four runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Alan Roden
singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Nick Rucker drew
a walk, scoring one run, Shea Estrin drew a walk, scoring one
run, and Jackson Fitzgerald drew a walk, scoring one run.
Palmer Campbell pitched Paducah
to victory. He surrendered one run on two hits over three and a
third innings, striking out one. Brady Austin threw one
inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Zack Toth took the loss for the
Miners. He surrendered five runs on six hits over four and a third
innings, striking out five and walking one.
Brady Bibbs started the game
for Paducah. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing four
runs on six hits and striking out one
The Chiefs host Henderson Saturday
