Reid Homan was 4-for-6 with 5 RBI as Paducah beat Fulton 19-3 Friday night at Brooks Stadium in Game 1 of the Ohio Valley League Playoffs.

The Chiefs scored six runs in the seventh inning and six more in the eighth to pull away.

Caleb Reinhardt was credited with the victory for Paducah. He lasted seven and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out nine and walking one. Teal Young threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The Chiefs tallied 24 hits on the night. Peyton Sockwell led Paducah with five hits in six at bats. Nick Shumaker was 3-for-4 with 5 RBI.

The Chiefs will play at Fulton Saturday at 7:00 pm in Game 2 of the best-of-three series.
