Leeder, a 6' 210 lb. defender, comes to Mid-Continent after completing a high school career that saw him earn letters in three different sports, as well as numerous awards on the soccer field. In his three years of varsity soccer at Orville High School, Leeder earned first team all-conference honors twice and second team all-conference honors once.
He was also twice named to the first team all-county squad, and once was a first team all-district performer. He was also the team captain for one season. When he was not playing soccer, Leeder was busy lettering twice in both wrestling and tennis. Academically, he earned places on both the Honor Roll and Merit Roll at Orville High.
“Sean attended our March 24th recruiting visit and caught our eye,” stated Oesch, who is entering his third season as the Cougars’ bench boss. “He has a great personality, and a tremendous work ethic. I know he will enjoy our school and soccer program, and I am looking forward to coaching Sean as he grows as a soccer player.”
